About Us
Bachman Lear & Company, Inc., is a Florida Licensed Mortgage Lender. The company was founded in 1979 by John & Cindy Argerious and named for ancestors respected for their integrity and praised for their expertise and “old school” service.
For the upscale home mortgage lending market we are a boutique lender with unique services and abilities not found at the mortgage mall. The objective is simply to put together the best terms for the borrower as quickly and efficiently as is possible today.
Bachman Lear is best know for having introduced, some say invented, the No Closing Cost program in 1991. By 2006 thousands of our clients had refinanced several times to lower their rate with no cost whatsoever, (nothing out of pocket, nothing added to the loan amount). Some of our clients refinanced as many as five times. Our clients saved over $20 million in closings costs to say nothing of the interest savings they continue to enjoy.
We are a technically advanced company and among the top 20 electronic approval companies nationwide by early 1989. Bachman Lear is the definition of what it means to be a "boutique lender"; nimble, expert, experienced with uniquely advantageous products and services.
Today, residential lending is about as complicated and regulated as it could possibly be. The excesses of some has made the process more difficult today than it once was. But these changes had to be made to protect consumers and improve loan quality. The advantage we hold now is experience, expertise and a reputation for excellence earned over the last 30 plus years. We're thoroughly proficient with the greatest professional aptitude and our investors know it. As a result we’re able to offer superior pricing and service on every loan we originate, process and close. If you, or in the case of many of our past clients, your children are buying or refinancing a home, please call and let us take care of you. There is simply no staff better prepared or more experienced at getting the job done.
Our CRE, commercial real estate department is very special as well. Our reputation for excellence among the lenders and investors we work with affords us a wide range of lending ability. We work primarily with banks on loans they can’t do. But don't get the wrong impression. It's not the borrowers that have changed, it's the banks. Many of these loans would have been easy for them just a few years ago. Those banks are now risk averse and/or burdened by excessive regulation and oversight. However, they still have clients that need a good commercial loan. There are banks, credit unions or private investors, all hungry and eager to make good commercial loans. We know where to go with the loan the client needs and that is our commercial department’s “stock in trade”.
